So. First off let me just say when you are making instant mashed potatoes and the box says 3/4 cup of water and 1 1/4 cups of milk; you really should follow the directions. I accidently did the opposite and then some extra telling myself it would be fine. Well indeed it wasnt. Those were some runny danged taters. And I couldnt do the usual thing of throwing that batch away and starting fresh. No..... that was my last package of instant potatoes and im one poor foo, so what I make is what I eat. So for lunch I enjoyed a can of mandarin oranges and runny potatoes..... mmm mmm good. They actually tasted quite delicious they were just runny. hehe oh well. I was fed, and that is all that mattered.
So this morning I got up at the ungodly hour of 7 to show up to do my civic duty of jury duty and the case ended up being cancelled. Fun right? Not. I had worked all night last night up till 4 in the morning I WAS TIRED. *sigh* figures. haha I never see the day that early so I guess it was kinda nice. It was an interesting group of people..... some old, very few young, and a whole lot of middle age peeps. I almost thought it would be an all female jury :s God help us if that happened ;) Anywho before we were all told we could go home I took the time to observe the people around me. Some people are so facinating where as others not. lol. This women sitting right next to me seemed to take the whole time we were there to collect sympathy from the poor helpless listener next to her. She had a sad story I could admit, however she was bathing in the attention. She went on and on about her health problems and how she would hope they would come a good excuse to be excused. * oh brother* and then we learned of her cancer history and her families cancer history, and her stroke history.... I mean ON AND ON. I work in the health profession and I do understand all this is horrible but is there a point where you should keep some of youre life to yourself? And then across from me sat a local librarian. She was certainly the quiet one, arent they always.... but im telling you some of those ladies im sure have a heck of a weekend away from that library. This one however seemed to be content with being quite. Out of everyone there was four men. Two men sat engulfed in conversation, where the third sat amongst some women conversing with them and the last man wore a cowboy hat and sat in the corner. So many personalities, so many questions about each one. Ya .... I know.... im terrible about being so dang curious when it comes to people. I find people fascinating. I do. haha I say this as I listen to Dane Cook. Twisted? nah... its just me. :)
